Directions and Parking
Traveling by car from the north
Take Route 28 south following the signs for Woods Hole the Islands after the divided highway ends. You will follow these signs on to Woods Hole Road. Stay on Woods Hole Rd. until you come to the village of Woods Hole. When you see Bank of America bear right on to Water St., follow Water St straight over the Draw Bridge. Shuckers will be down the cobble way leading to the dock on your right in between the 3rd and 4th building.
Traveling from the south (the Mid Cape and Lower Cape)
Take route 28 north through Falmouth center. At the village green bear left and then take a right at the blinking light onto Woods Hole Rd. Stay on Woods Hole Rd till you come to the village of Woods Hole. When you see bank of America bear right on to Water St., follow Water St over the drawbridge. Shuckers will be down the cobble way leading to the dock on your right between the 3rd and 4th building.
Parking
There are 110-metered spots in the village of Woods Hole. The Woods Hole Business Association operates three additional Parking lots:
- The Dwyer Dock lot (just before the drawbridge on your right) is open after 5 pm nightly and on Saturday and Sunday days for a $3.00 fee.
- The MBL Lilly lot (Located about 50 yards past Shuckers on your right) is open Saturday nights for a $3.00 fee.
- The Fisheries parking lot (located past Shuckers after the waterfront park on your left) is open weekends, Friday night, and Saturday and Sunday beginning at 11 am, free of charge.
Traveling by bike is a wonderful journey via the Shining Sea Bikeway.
Traveling by boat: Come under the drawbridge (with openings every half hour) in to Eel Pond and dockage may be available through Woods Hole Marine (508-540-2402) for a fee.
By the Whoosh Trolley: Operates from the Falmouth Mall through downtown Falmouth into the village of Woods Hole every 30 minutes at cost of $1.00
